LUMINEERS are unique in that they are ultra-thin (approximately 0.2 mm) and ultra translucent. While traditional veneers are much thicker, requiring the grinding down of your original tooth structure, LUMINEERS are so thin, little to no tooth reduction is necessary. At the same time, LUMINEERS resist microleakage and microcracking.

Are there any other LUMINEERS?

No. LUMINEERS can only be made from patented Cerinate porcelain and LUMINEERS with LUMINATE in new LUMITray Technology is the only porcelain veneer available with tray technology. Is the LUMINEERS procedure painful?

Unlike traditional veneers, LUMINEERS are a completely pain-free way to reshape and permanently whiten your teeth. Traditional veneers require the grinding down of healthy tooth structure to accommodate them, LUMINEERS are ultra-thin, so in most cases, you will get a perfect fit without shots, needles, or grinding down of the original tooth structure. Once the procedure is completed, there is no post placement discomfort or sensitivity, which means LUMINEERS will look natural and feel comfortable from the moment they are placed.

I think I need braces, but I really don't want to go through the inconvenient, unsightly, and time-intensive process. Can I get LUMINEERS instead?

There are no limitations to what you can eat or drink as LUMINEERS are placed over original teeth in the most durable way possible. However, you should continue to visit your dentist every 6 months for a check-up and cleaning to keep your LUMINEERS looking their best.
